A week ago we had our yearly competition in the climbing gym, the NJK Open. I didn't compete, partly because I was judge and official (the geek that kept track on peoples scores), partly because I'm mostly bouldering and pretty much suck at regular sportclimbing. Instead I was there to photograph the event. I find it really hard to photograph climbing, especially indoors. The lighting is crappy and it's hard to catch the dynamic of the movements. This, however, is all right. The light is not too bad (thankfully, for once I shot in raw) and it has movement. Expect more from this competition in the near future. |
